As far as the bowlers are concerned, Alzarri Joseph, Akeal Hosein, and Jayden Seales make the cut.

Facing them are Ireland, who last played an ODI series against Zimbabwe back in September 2021. That series resulted in a tie (1-1). They were due to play two one-day internationals against the United States of America last month. However, the series got postponed due to Covid-19 concerns.

The last time when Ireland went to West Indies in 2020, they suffered a 3-0 thrashing. They would be looking to improve on that record and hopefully come back home with a better result this time around. Andrew Balbirnie will continue to lead the team.

The onus for scoring the bulk of the runs will fall on his shoulders of the captain, alongside William Porterfield and Paul Sterling. The middle-order will comprise the likes of Harry Tector, George Dockrell, and Mark Adair among others. As far as the bowling goes, the presence of Joshua Little, Simi Singh, Andy McBirne should keep the team in good stead.
