Namibia National Cricket Team (2026)
Namibia played their first T20 World Cup appearance in 2007 but could not qualify for further rounds. Later in 2021 and 2022, the team finished at (10th out of 16) and (13th out of 16) and was unable to qualify into the super 8s.
In this edition, Namibia will be looking forward to put on a better performance and compete in the T20 World Cup to pose some competition to other teams and mark themselves as a serious participant.
With some team building, cricketing prodigies, and the current arsenal of talented youngsters and seasoned veterans, Namibia team will look forward to outshine their opponents and present some good cricket to other teams in the tournament.
Now, in the 9th edition of the tournament, Namibia’s Captain Gerhard Erasmus eyes the World Cup for the first time and looking at the Namibia ICC T20 World Cup team, it flickers a hope of a new match-up in the World Cup.
