IND vs NZ 2021: Watch – James Neesham Breaks Toe-End Of His Bat While Trying To Play A Big Shot

Indian speedster Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivered a bat breaker delivery to New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham in the second T20 International match of the three-match T20I series on Friday, November 19 at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.

The funny bat breaking moment happened in the 18th over of the match when Neesham was struggling to put runs on the board. Bhuvneshwar bowled a good delivery outside the off-stump and Neesham tried to smash it hard to send it for the maximum but it didn’t happen as the ball hit the toe-end of the bat and it simply rolled back towards the pacer and the piece of the bat went flying up in the air.

Also after that Bhuvneshwar, Kumar picked up the ball and threatened to have a shy at the bowler’s end as Santner was backing up. Kiwi pacer Trent Boult gave a shocking reaction to this moment and skipper Tim Southee was seen laughing at it.

Meanwhile, in the very next ball, Neesham got out. He played a very poor knock of 3 runs off 12 balls. Talking about Bhuvneshwar Kumar he gave away 39 runs in his 4 overs and picked 1 wicket.
