Pakistan are scheduled to play the second T20 international against Bangladesh on 20th November 2021 at Shere Bangla National Stadium. Pakistan put on an exceptional performance with the ball in the first T20 game of the series.

What followed was a top-order collapse in the second innings, however, crucial knocks from Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, and Khushdil Shah helped the team win the game in the end. Here’s a look at our predicted playing XI of Pakistan against Bangladesh,

BAN vs PAK: Pakistan’s Predicted Playing XI vs Bangladesh, 2nd T20I

Opener: Babar Azam and M Rizwan

Both the players were outstanding throughout the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. They set the tone for big scores by stitching valuable partnerships at the top of the order.

M Rizwan finished the tournament as the third-highest run-getter, while Babar Azam was the highest run-scorer of the tournament. The duo got out cheaply in the first match of the series. They would look to get back amongst the runs on Saturday.

Middle-Order: Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Shoaib Malik

Fakhar Zaman played an outstanding knock in the semi-final match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. His knock would have been remembered for years to come had Pakistan won that game against Australia.

Nevertheless, he will continue to come at number three, followed by Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik. In the absence of M Hafeez, Haider Ali is likely to place all three games at number four.

Spinners: Shadab Khan, M Nawaz and Khushdil Shah

On the slow and low surfaces of Bangladesh, Shadab Khan is likely to play an important role in the team. He was outstanding for Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and should be looking to carry his form in the series.

Khushdil Shah played the first T20 international of the series and is likely to be persisted in the second game as well. M Nawan is a like-for-like replacement for Imad Wasim. He bowled in the powerplay in the last game and picked 1 for 27 in 4 overs. He should continue to play in the next game as well.

Bowlers: Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, and M Wasim Jr.

All three bowlers did little wrong in the last game to be dropped. Shaheen Shah Afridi was rested in the last game.

There could be a chance that Haris Rauf might be rested and make way for Afridi but Pakistan is unlikely to make a change in the very next game. Hasan Ali, Harif Rauf and M Wasim Jr. should continue to feature in the playing XI.
