Michael Clarke is a former Australia cricketer who has turned into a cricket commentator now. He led Australia to ICC ODI World Cup title in 2015 and is one of the greatest Australian captains with an ICC title to his name.
Michael Clarke is a right-handed batsman who used to bowl left-arm orthodox spin. He bowled in many games and also got a lot of wickets. Hence, he is also regarded as a useful all-rounder for the side during his time.

Michael Clarke was born on April 2, 1981 to Les Clarke and Debbie Clarke in Liverpool City, Australia. He grew up with his sister Leanne. He liked to listen to music and drive since his childhood- his two major hobbies other than swimming. He got married to Kyly Clarke in 2012 but the couple separated in 2020.
Early and Domestic Career
The former Australia skipper started his early coaching with coaches Darren Lehmann and Mickey Arthur. He made his domestic debut for New South Wales in 1999 and played for the side till 2014. He had to wait for four years to enter the national side after his domestic cricket.
International Career
Michael Clarke made Test debut in January 2003 with an ODI game against England. He played his last match in August 2015; playing a total of 115 Tests, 245 ODIs, and 34 T20Is.
He shattered 8643 runs in 198 Test innings averaging 48+, 7981 runs in 245+ ODI games at 44+ average, and 488 runs in 34 T20Is at 21+ average. He also slammed 36 international tons and 86 half-centuries. He also grabbed 31 Test wickets, 57 ODI wickets, and 6 T20I wickets.
Franchise Career
Michael Clarke did not participate much in the Indian Premier League due to his IPL commitments. He slammed 98 runs in 6 games in his lone season IPL 2012 for Pune Warriors India. He did not play in the Big Bash League ever.
