Pakistan Super League 2024 (PSL)

The Pakistan Super League 2024 (PSL 2024) will be the ninth edition of the competition. The PSL is Pakistan's premier franchise T20 competition. The tournament The league was founded in 2015 by the Pakistan Cricket Board. From the very first season, six teams have been participating in the PSL. 

Each team plays the group stage matches in a double round-robin format and the top four teams make it to the playoffs followed by the final. Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars are the most successful sides in the history of the PSL, having won it twice. Reigning champions Lahore Qalandars are also the only side to successfully defend their title.

PSL Schedule 2024:

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is yet to announce the full schedule for PSL 2024. The cricket board, however, has confirmed that the tournament is tentatively scheduled from 8 February to 24 March 2024.

While the PSL 2024 schedule is yet to be announced, the tournament is expected to start on February 8, 2024.

Lahore Qalandars were the no.1 team in PSL 2023 as they won the title.

As per reports, PSL 2024 matches are likely to be played at four venues - Rawalpindi, Multan, Lahore and Karachi.
