Lahore Qalandars are set to clash with Islamabad United in their opening match of PSL 2024. Lahore Qalandars are the defending champions of PSL 2024, who crushed Multan Sultans in the final last year to clinch the trophy. Led by Shaheen Afridi, Lahore aims for consecutive title in PSL 2024.

Lahore Qalandars crushed Islamabad United in both clashes last season. They also outplayed them in all three encounters in the prior season 2022. Fakhar Zaman

Fakhar Zaman will be another opener for Islamabad United in PSL 2024. With 429 runs in 13 matches, he was the leading run-getter for the team last season. With 1 century and 2 half-centuries, Fakhar Zaman was a fabulous batter to look upon.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa (C)

Bhanuka Rajapaksa will grab the one-down slot for Lahore Qalandars in the PSL 2024 first match. The left-handed batsman is a hard-hitting batter in the shortest format. In 37 T20Is for Sri Lanka, he has slammed 678 runs at 133+ strike rate with 3 half-centuries. He will also keep the stumps for the team.

Sahibzada Farhan

Sahibzada Farhan is another crucial batter for Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2024. Daniel Lawrence is partially unavailable for PSL 2024 and Farhan will get an opportunity to showcase his might in batting. He has played 5 T20I games for the team.

David Wiese

Haris Rauf
