Dan Mousley took a sensational catch during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 match between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans. Peshawar Zalmi’s Dan Mousley executed the catch perfectly near the boundary line to dismiss Multan Sultans all-rounder David Willey.
Peshawar Zalmi secured a five-run victory in a thrilling encounter at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan on Friday, February 23. Luke Wood was outstanding for Zalmi while defending the target. He was named the player of the match for his bowling performance.

In a crucial moment during the 17th over of the chase, David Willey played a slog sweep against leg-spinner Arif Yaqoob towards the long-on boundary where Dan Mousley was stationed. Mousley made a remarkable effort at the boundary line to complete the catch.
Dan Mousley leaped to catch the ball and flicked it back inside before re-entering the field to complete the catch. The decision was reviewed, but the benefit of the doubt went to the fielding side. David Willey was dismissed for a golden duck in the recent encounter.

Peshawar Zalmi Secures Their First Victory In PSL 2024
Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and chose to bat first, losing their initial wicket with just 26 runs on the board. Babar Azam and Haseebullah Khan then steadied the innings, forming a crucial 46-run partnership. However, Usama Mir dismissed both batters in quick succession.
Haseebullah smashed 37 runs off 18 balls, and Babar added 31 runs from 26 deliveries. Rovman Powell played a brisk knock of 23 runs off 11 balls in the middle overs. Peshawar Zalmi ended with a total of 179 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allocated 20 overs.
David Willey, Usama Mir, and Mohammad Ali each claimed two wickets for Multan. Mohammad Ali conceded only 23 runs in four overs. Additionally, Abbas Afridi and Shahnawaz Dahani secured one wicket each for the team.
