Watch: Haris Rauf gets brutally trolled by Pakistan teammate Khushdil Shah during the PSL 2024

Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 is going on and Multan Sultans are currently at the top of the table as they have won three out of three games. They won their last game against defending champions Lahore Qalandars as they chased the 167-run target with an over to spare. Haris Rauf got brutally trolled by Khushdil Shah after the game when Khushdil Shah and Iftikhar Ahmed were talking with each other about the chase and the way Iftikhar batted in the 19th over to finish the game.

Iftikhar Ahmed smashed 34 off 11 deliveries at a strike rate of 309.09 including five fours and two sixes. He smashed Zaman Khan for 24 runs in the second last over of the innings where he struck Zaman for three fours and two sixes. Iftikhar Ahmed was joined by Khushdil Shah who did not face a ball as Iftikhar finished the game in the second last over. However, Khushdil Shah brutally trolled Haris Rauf after the match during a conversation with Iftikhar Ahmed.

Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by five wickets in the seventh match of the PSL 2024. They are the table toppers with three out of three wins to their names. Lahore Qalandars opted to bat first after winning the toss and got 166 on the board at the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Multan Sultans chased the target with an over and five wickets to spare laying on the back of skipper Mohammad Rizwan’s 82 off 59 deliveries.

After the match, Iftikhar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah were talking about the game when Khushdil Shah took a hilarious jibe at Haris Rauf. He said, “Mein bhi yahi soch raha tha ki agar iss over mei finish na hua to last over toh Haris Rauf kar rha tha. (I was thinking that even if we don’t finish the game in this over then next over was to be bowled by Haris Rauf.),” said Khushdil Shah.

Khushdil Shah with his remark implied that it is easy to chase against Haris Rauf in the last over. Haris Rauf was smacked for back-to-back sixes by Virat Kohli during the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 while chasing 160 when India required 28 to win in eight deliveries when Virat Kohli smoked Haris Rauf for two sixes in a row to reduce the pressure on the Indian team.

Haris Rauf has not been in good form in recent times and is struggling with his bowling. He is also in some trouble with the central contract of the PCB as he has refused to play Test cricket for Pakistan which has tampered with his reputation. He is representing Lahore Qalandars in the PSL this season and is also the brand ambassador of the franchise.

Haris Rauf bowled three overs during the match against Multan Sultans and gave 25 runs without taking a wicket in the match. Lahore Qalandars will now face Karachi Kings on Saturday, February 24 and Multan Sultans will face Peshawar Zalmi on Friday, February 23. Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators are the two teams who are currently undefeated in the PSL 2024 and Multan Sultans would like to continue their unbeaten run against Peshawar Zalmi on Friday.
