England star Jason Roy hilariously teased Sarfaraz Ahmed during the game between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators on Thursday (February 29) in the ongoing Pakistan Super League 2024 (PSL 2024).
The incident took place just before the start of the game. Quetta Gladiators skipper Rilee Rossouw won the toss and opted to bowl first. As Sarfaraz Ahmed and his teammates were making their way to the field, the commentator decided to interact with the wicketkeeper-batsman through the spider-cam.
The commentator began by asking the former Pakistan captain about his injury. After giving a promising update on his injury, Sarfaraz Ahmed was asked about the mood of the team.
And as he started to talk about the team’s mood, Jason Roy decided to have some fun. Standing on the other side of the spider camera, the England opener started hilariously shaking heads, seemingly copying his teammate’s mannerisms.
The commentator soon noticed Jason Roy’s antics and as he asked Sarfaraz Ahmed about him, the England star started laughing before walking away.

“It’s a great game of cricket, and what an innings by Rutherford and Akeal as well. A serious game of cricket. We sat down before the start of the season and spoke about the values we want to have as a team and everyone brought in the idea of how we want to approach this season. We chased it on a tricky wicket and games like these will add more positivity to the group,” said Rossouw after the game.
