Sachin Tendulkar Cars

Sachin Tendulkar is one of the most decorated batsmen of all time. The legendary batsman plied his trade for Team India in international cricket from 1989 to 2013. In domestic cricket, he represented Mumbai while in the Indian Premier League, he played for Mumbai Indians.

Tendulkar played a record 200 Tests for India, scoring a record 15921 runs including a record 51 tons and 68 half-centuries. He played 463 ODIs too and scored 18426 runs with the help of 49 centuries and 96 half-centuries. Tendulkar played a T20I for Team India as well.

Here is a list showing all the cars in Sachin Tendulkar's car collection. 

Maruti Suzuki 800:

It is a special car for Sachin Tendulkar as it is the first car that he bought after becoming an international cricketer. In an interview, Tendulkar had called the car ' a dream car back in the day'.

The car has a 796cc engine that can produce up to 37 bhp. He sold the special car a few years ago before urging his fans and followers to help him find it.

BMW X5M:

The BMW X5M arrived in India only because of Sachin Tendulkar. A modified version of the BMW X5, the car was not sold in India and was imported for Tendulkar. It is an SUV and has a triple turbocharged six-cylinder inline engine. The engine produces 400 PS of power and 760 Nm of torque. It can reach from 0 to 100 kph in just about seven seconds.

BMW 7-Series 760Li:

Sachin Tendulkar, who endorsed BMW, also owns the beast BMW 7-series 760Li. The customized car has the former cricketer's initials ST printed on the headrests. The car is powered by a 6.5 L V12 Twin-turbo engine that generates 601 bhp on tap. The all-wheel steering feature also makes the premium car easily maneuverable in the tightest of turns.

BMW M6 Gran Coupe:

Sachin Tendulkar had also imported the first-ever BMW M6 Gran Coupe in India. The 'frozen silver' paint shade is very rare and is only available internationally. The premium sedan has a V8 engine with the ability to produce 560 bhp and 680 nm torque.

The other BMW cars owned by Tendulkar are the BMW M5 30 Jahre and BMW i8. When BMW celebrated 30 years of their M5 series by manufacturing 300 units of ‘BMW M5 30 Jahre’, it sent one of them to Tendulkar. Later, Tendulkar launched the BMW i8 in India and also owns one of them.

Nissan GT-R Egoist:

Another premium car in Sachin Tendulkar's car collection is the Nissan GT-R Egoist. It is a limited-edition version of the Nissan GT-R. There are only 39 pieces of the car in the world and one of them is India. Later in 2017, Tendulkar sold the car.

Ferrari 360 Modena:

Ferrari 360 Modena is yet another special car in Tendulkar's garage. Fiat gifted the car to the former cricketer after he went past the legendary Sir Don Bradman's record of 20 Test tons. Tendulkar received the car from the legendary F1 driver Michael Schumacher.  

Immediately after Tendulkar received the gift, the car hit the headlines as the Indian authorities asked him to pay a duty of INR 1.1 crore. Later, Tendulkar sold the car to a Surat-based businessman. The car also appeared in the Bollywood film ‘Ferrari ki Sawaari’.

Apart from the aforementioned cars, Tendulkar also owned a Fiat Palio S10 and a Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG.
