Rishabh Pant instils fear in opposition spinners even on turning tracks, according to Aakash Chopra.

Pant batted 3 times in the Test series against Sri Lanka and produced spectacular performances each time. For his dominating performance with the bat, the wicketkeeper-batsman was named Player of the Series.

Aakash Chopra praised the excellent aspects of Team India’s victory in the Sri Lanka series. He showered compliments on Pant, saying:

“One key fact is that Dimuth Karunaratne got a century, but the bowler was not scared of him; a spinner is scared of bowling to Rishabh Pant even on a turning pitch; it’s a total wasteland but you’re afraid of him.”

Rishabh Pant is the type of player that inspires terror in the opposition. He’s a distinct type of player who exudes confidence and makes the opponent feel his presence.

Pant scored 185 runs at a strike rate of 120.12 in the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. He hit 128 boundaries, including 23 fours and six maximums, for a total of 128 runs.

Aakash Chopra says Rishabh Pant is a valuable asset of India:

Pant’s hitting approach, according to Aakash Chopra, suggests that he will be more successful in white-ball cricket. He remarked:

“Pant is reasserting his dominance once more, and that’s what I like about him. When you look at his batting, you get the impression that he’ll be great in T20, good in ODIs, and maybe a touch shaky in Test cricket since he bats aggressively.

Aakash Chopra, on the other hand, pointed out that the destructive wicketkeeper-batter has excelled in the game’s longest format.

“For him, though, it is the absolute opposite. He plays Test cricket as though he was born to do just that. He’s well in ODIs and T20s, but he’s a fantastic player. He also was awarded Player of the Series in this game.”

Rishabh Pant has joined the Delhi Capitals of the Indian Premier League. On March 27, the Delhi Capitals take on the Mumbai Indians at Brabourne Stadium in their first game.
