IND vs SL: "What Is The Point Of A Pitch Like This?"- Aakash Chopra Slams The Bengaluru Track

The idea of creating a collapsing pitch for the ongoing second Test between Team India and Sri Lanka has been questioned by Aakash Chopra.
During the YouTube video, Aakash Chopra stated that this type of pitch isn’t suitable for a test match.

Aakash Chopra slammed the pitch in a video posted to his YouTube Video. He stated:
“Why do we need such a pitch? The soil flies in the first over. If the soil is flying in the first over of the first day, the match will not progress to the fourth or fifth day.”
That is precisely what has occurred here. It was clear from the first ball of the first day that this match would be finished in no time. But why such a pitch, and it happens regularly?
In such pitches, Aakash Chopra believes that skills are crucial:
Bowlers will not get wickets purely by controlling the ball in, according to Aakash Chopra. He stated, ”

“There isn’t any rivalry. Skills are crucial; you should only acquire wickets if you are an excellent left-arm spinner. What good is it if we hit the ball hard on the pitch and it jumps or remains very low?”
The Bengaluru pitch, according to Aakash Chopra, deserves just as much condemnation as the soft ground during the first Test between Pakistan and Australia.
“We were implying that the Rawalpindi pitch was a shambles. This pitch is also problematic in my opinion because the batter is more reliant on luck than on skill. Shreyas Iyer, on the other hand, has told us a unique tale.”
At stumps on the first day of the second Test against Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka was 86 for 6 in reply to India’s first-innings total of 252. All other visiting hitters failed to get going, as Angelo Mathews top-scored for Sri Lanka with an 85-ball 43. At the end of the day, Niroshan Dickwella and Lasith Embuldeniya were batting on 13 and 0, respectively.
