Sudurpaschim Royals Cricket Team 2025

Sudurpaschim Royals are a professional franchise T20 team based in the Sudurpaschim province of Nepal. They are one of the eight teams that will be taking part in the inaugural edition of the Nepal Premier League.

The team is owned by Empire Sports. Empire Sports paid NPR 1.68 crore to buy the Sudurpaschim-based franchise. Nepal star Dipendra Singh Airee is the marquee player of the team and will also lead the side in Nepal Premier League 2024.

Airee has played 60 ODIs and 74 T20Is for Nepal so far. In the 50-over format, he has scored 948 runs and picked up 38 wickets. In T20Is, he has scored 1725 runs and picked up 49 wickets. Former Nepal cricketer Jagat Tamata is the head coach of the team.

Sudurpaschim Royals will open their campaign in Nepal Premier League 2024 against Birtanagar Kings on December 3. Their final league game is against Karnali Yaks on December 16.
