Nepal Premier League Stats

The much-awaited tournament will be played from November 30 to December 21. The Nepal Premier League has replaced the Nepal T20 League that was discontinued after just one season. The tournament is founded by the Cricket Association of Nepal and is set to become the country's premier men's T20 tournament.
A total of eight teams will be participating in the tournament. The teams will be representing the eight provinces or cities of Nepal. The teams are - Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers and Sudurpaschim Royals.
Some of Nepal's biggest names such as Sandeep Lamichhane, Kushal Malla, Aasif Sheikh, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Rohit Paudel, Kushal Bhurtel and Dipendra Singh Airee will be leading the teams.
A total of 32 games will be played in the first edition of the Nepal Premier League. As far as the format is concerned, there will be a round-robin stage followed by the playoffs. In the round-robin stage, each team will be playing against the other teams just once. At the end of the league stage, the top four teams will be progressing to the playoffs.
