Suresh Raina Daughter

Suresh Raina is a former Indian cricketer who plied his trade for Team India in all three formats. An attacking left-handed batsman, Raina made his debut for Team India in 2005 and soon became an integral part of the limited-overs side.

Raina also made a name for himself with his fielding abilities. In his prime, he was one of the best fielders in the world. Overall, Raina played 18 Tests, 226 ODIs, and 78 T20Is. He scored 768 Test runs, 5615 ODI runs, and 1605 T20I runs.

Raina was a part of the Indian team that won the 2011 ODI World Cup. In 2010, he also became the first Indian to hit a T20I century, achieving the feat during the T20 World Cup clash against South Africa. It also made him the first Indian to hit a century in all three formats.

Before making his debut for the senior Indian team, Raina represented India at the Under-19 level too. In domestic cricket, he played for Uttar Pradesh while in the IPL, he enjoyed a highly successful career with Chennai Super Kings. He also played for the now-defunct Gujarat Lions in the IPL.

Suresh Raina tied the knot with Priyanka Chaudhary in 2015. Although both knew each other from childhood, they could not stay in contact because Priyanka's family moved to Punjab. In an interview, Raina revealed that he met Priyanka at an airport in 2008 and they talked for around 5 minutes.

However, the meeting did not lead to anything between the two. Raina was in Australia in the 2014-15 season when his mother decided to finalize the wedding. While Raina was busy playing cricket, his mother finalized the wedding after talking to Priyanka's family. As a result, Raina and Priyanka tied the knot in 2015.

A year later, they welcomed their first child, a daughter. Priyanka and Suresh Raina's daughter's name is Gracia Raina. Suresh Raina's daughter was born on 14 May 2016. She was born in Raina's hometown, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Gracia became an internet sensation thanks to her cute looks and her father's huge popularity in the country. She has an Instagram page of her own with almost 30k followers. The Raina family keeps the followers updated about Gracia's life by posting photos and videos.

Gracia Raina Foundation:

After the birth of their daughter Gracia, Raina, and Priyanka founded a charity organization in her name called, the 'Gracia Raina Foundation'. Priyanka is the Director as well as the Founder of the organization. It was founded in 2017.

According to the foundation's website, the organization was founded 'with a simple goal of empowering women, in and on the cusp of their reproductive phase, with knowledge and awareness that further enables them to make improved reproductive and maternal health-oriented decisions.'

The foundation takes the help of culturally sensitive awareness programs to promote maternal wellness. It helps women to achieve maternal-child care in a dignified manner. The foundation is also spreading awareness of pregnancy-related challenges. To spread awareness, it takes help from local partners, health workers, and communities.
