Suresh Raina Family

Suresh Raina is a former Indian cricketer who played for India in all three formats in international cricket. He made his debut for Team India in 2018 and announced his retirement from international cricket in 2020.

Raina's final appearance for India came in the year 2018. A left-handed middle-order batsman, Raina played 18 Tests, 226 ODIs, and 78 T20Is for India, scoring more than 7500 runs with the help of seven centuries and 48 half-centuries. He was a part of the Indian team that won the ODI World Cup in 2011.

Suresh Raina parents:

Suresh Raina was born to Trilokchand Raina and Parvesh Raina. The Raina family originally hails from the Rainawari village in Jammu and Kashmir. The family moved to Muradnagar in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh in the late 1990s.

Suresh Raina's father, Trilokchand was a military officer and operated in an ordinance factory. According to reports, Trilokchand had expertise in making bombs in the ordinance factory. Raina's father passed away at his home in Ghaziabad on 6 February 2022.

Suresh Raina's mother, Parvesh was a homemaker and played a big role in her son's cricketing journey. Time and again, Raina has credited his mother for his success. He has also expressed regrets over not being able to spend enough time with her since he studied in a boarding school.

Suresh Raina siblings:

Suresh Raina was not the only child of his parents. He has four siblings, three brothers and one sister. Raina is the youngest among the five siblings. Suresh Raina brothers' names are Naresh, Mukesh, and Dinesh. Suresh Raina sister's name is Renu.

While Dinesh serves in the Indian Army, not much information is available about the other two brothers. Raina shares a very close bond with his sister Renu.

Suresh Raina wife:

Suresh Raina is married to Priyanka Chaudhary. Even though Raina and Priyanka knew each other from childhood, their marriage was not a love marriage but an arranged marriage. Raina had very little say in finalizing the marriage.

Raina and Priyanka got married in 2015. Before getting married to Raina, Priyanka worked as an IT engineer in the Netherlands. She has worked with MNCs such as Wipro and Accenture. After the marriage, she also co-founded the popular healthcare brand, Maate Care.

Suresh Raina kids:

Suresh Raina has two kids with Priyanka. In 2016, Raina and Priyanka became parents for the first time when they welcomed their daughter Graria into their lives. Four years later, Priyanka gave birth to the couple's son, Rio.
