Suresh Raina is a former Indian cricketer who represented Team India in all three formats of international cricket. In domestic cricket, he represented Uttar Pradesh while in the Indian Premier League, he plied his trade for Chennai Super Kings and now-defunct Gujarat Lions.

Suresh Raina's wife, Priyanka Chaudhary was born on 18 June 1986 in a Hindu family in Rajnagar, Ghaziabad. After completing her schooling, she did her B. Tech from an engineering college in Uttar Pradesh. As per reports, her father was a sports coach while her mother was a homemaker.
Priyanka has two brothers as well, Vivek and Abhishek. Both of her brothers are engineers too. After completing her graduation, Priyanka worked as an IT professional with a bank in the Netherlands. After getting married, she donned the hat of an entrepreneur as well and is the co-founder of the popular healthcare brand, Maate Care.

Suresh Raina and Priyanka Chaudhary knew each other from childhood but could not remain in touch after the latter's family moved to Punjab.
During the same interview, Raina was also asked whether his marriage with Priyanka was a love marriage or an arranged marriage. In reply, the former India batsman had said that even though his family knew Priyanka's family very well, their marriage was not a typical love marriage but an arranged marriage.
Raina had very little say in the marriage. He was in Australia for his cricket assignments when his mother finalized the wedding with Priyanka's family. Only after finalizing the wedding, Raina's mother called him and inform him about it.
Priyanka and Raina got engaged on 1 April 2015. The engagement ceremony was a low-key affair and took place at the cricketer's house in Ghaziabad. Two days later, the wedding took place too.
