Mumbai Indians defended a paltry score in their previous game against Sunrisers and looking in the best touch to take on the Delhi Capitals in their next encounter. Sunrisers were cruising at one stage of the game and Mumbai did a great job to pull things back to their side. Their bowling looks very strong at the moment.

Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult have formed a world-class bowling pair at the front and back while the leg spinner Rahul Chahar has been very impressive in the last two games. The batting still needs to get their act together and post better totals for the bowlers to have some cushion while defending. Here are 3 stars from Mumbai Indians who will be game-changers against Delhi Capitals.

Rohit Sharma looked in brilliant touch in the previous game against Sunrisers until he was dismissed by Vijay Shankar with a mistimed shot. He is still waiting to get a big score which we have used to seeing him in international T20s. He has been far quieter in the IPL and needs to set the stage on fire soon.

Rohit can play the big shots as well as and he is a good striker of the cricket ball. He adds a lot of value to the team at the top order as well with his excellent captaincy. He will a key man to Mumbai Indians’ success as Delhi does have a strong bowling lineup that can rip any batting order. The Indian vice-captain is due for some big scores too.

Hardik Pandya:

The Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya hasn’t bowled yet, but he brings a lot of contribution to the team with his fielding as well as his batting abilities. Pandya has short of runs so far in the tournament and was dismissed early in the previous game for just 7 runs in 5 balls.

Hardik Pandya is one of the biggest match-winners in the limited-overs format, and he was brilliant in the last two editions for Mumbai Indians. However, Hardik hasn’t had the big innings yet and is due for a big knock. He can hit the long balls as well and can change the game around in a very quick time. His impact could take the team total to a big score and would make it easy for the bowlers to defend with.

Trent Boult:

The New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult picked up three wickets in the previous game against Sunrisers and had a great impact on the comeback effort. He has been superb so far in the tournament and has picked up 6 wickets in the 3 games he has played. He has bowled a lot of dot balls, as well as his economy rate, has been on the lower end too.

Boult has been moving the ball in both ways in the powerplay and has provided early breakthroughs for the team. He has been terrific at the death overs as well and has changed the games around with some brilliant yorkers and variations. He can be the match-winner for Mumbai Indians as he troubled the Delhi batsman early in the innings.
