Virat Kohli – 3
He followed up with a double century in the next test at Nagpur in the second innings and finally, he scored a brilliant 243 in the next innings of the Delhi Test. It is a testimony of the talent he possesses and he is sixth in the list of most consecutive centuries for India with three to his name.
Vinod Kambli – 3
Kambli started off with a double century against England at Mumbai and he then followed it up with another double century against Zimbabwe in the first innings at Delhi. His third consecutive one came against Sri Lanka in the first innings, but this time it was a 125 run knock.
Sunil Gavaskar – 3

One of the greatest cricketers ever to have played the game, Sunil Gavaskar was very consistent in test cricket and he scored three consecutive test centuries twice in his career. On the first occasion, the opponents were West Indies in 1971 while on the second occasion it was the Pakistan side in 1978.
Gavaskar started off with an unbeaten 117 run knock at Bridgetown, then a 124 knock at the Port of Spain in the next test, and then finally a double century in the same test in the third innings. In the second instance, he started off with a 111 run knock at Karachi, followed it up a 137 run knock in the same test in the next innings, and finally, it was a double century at Mumbai in the next month.
Polly Umrigar – 3
Umrigar started off with a century against Pakistan at Chennai, then followed it with a 112 run knock against Pakistan at Delhi and his third one came against England with an unbeaten 147 run knock at Kanpur.
Vijay Hazare – 3
Hazare was the first Indian batsman to score three consecutive centuries and he achieved the feat with 122 in the fourth innings of the Mumbai test against West Indies in 1949, then followed it with an unbeaten 164 in the Delhi Test against West Indies, and finally 155 run knock against England in 1951.
Rahul Dravid – 4
Dravid scored 115 against England at Nottingham, followed it up with 148 against England at Leeds, and then scored a marvellous double century against the same opponents at Oval. His fourth consecutive one came against the West Indies at Mumbai where he scored an unbeaten 100 in the first innings.
