The 2019 World Cup had a nail-biting finish between England and New Zealand in the final and the other nations have started working on their batsmen with new plans for the next World Cup in place. It is not easy to be consistent as a batsman in ODIs for a long time and every team will be happy to have players who are among the runs always.
The pandemic hasn’t served well as a lot of batsmen have suffered from a loss in form and this is where the best of players keep their heads up. Run scoring has been difficult and with a note on that, here are the five batsmen with the most ODI runs since the 2019 World Cup.
Five Batsmen With Most ODI Runs Since 2019 World Cup:
Aaron Finch:

The Australian limited-overs captain Aaron Finch has been destroying the bowling attacks from the top of the order. The 34-year-old is a fantastic striker of the cricket ball and he clears most of the grounds easily. He hasn’t had his regular partner David Warner at the other end but has managed to get on the act.
Finch is fifth on the list of batsmen with the most ODI runs since the 2019 Worldcup and the right-hander has scored 673 runs in 13 innings. Given that, he scores a pretty good strike rate, he has done really well and he is going to be a big player for Australia in the T20 World Cup this year.
Paul Stirling:
Stirling is fourth on the list of batsmen with the most ODI runs since the 2019 World Cup and Stirling has scored 785 runs in 14 innings. Stirling has scored 12 centuries and 26 half-centuries and he is one of those cricketers who gets a big score when he is on the song or gets out early.
KL Rahul:

KL Rahul has shown tremendous growth since the 2019 World Cup and he was very happy to take the job of Indian wicket-keeper batsmen in the middle order. He has been a consistent run-scorer at number five and has played the finisher job to perfection so far.
Rahul has hit 805 runs in 15 innings which is the third on the list of batsmen since the 2019 World Cup. He has stepped up for the team when India needed him the most and has shown a lot of promise to become one of the top performers on the side.
Virat Kohli:

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli holds the second position in the list of batsmen with the most ODI runs since the 2019 World cup and he has hit 883 runs in 17 innings. Kohli is a prolific run-scorer in all the formats for India and he is one of the best in the business for the last decade.
Kohli is one of the few batsmen with more than average 50 in all the formats and he hasn’t scored an international century for the last two years nearly which is way below his usual standards. The 32-year-old averages 59.1 in ODI cricket and he is one of the greatest match-winners India has had.
Shai Hope:

Shai Hope has been a sensation for West Indies in the last few years and the 27-year-old has the most number of ODI runs since the 2019 World Cup. Hope has scored 1062 ODI runs in 18 innings and he is a vital cog in the West Indies batting lineup at the moment.
Hope’s technique has been really good and his temperament has been a big highlight of his game. He has always fought hard through the tough times but his strike rate has been under the radar at times. He is expected to play a big role in ODI cricket for West Indies in the upcoming years.
