Chennai might be looking to keep the core moving forward but the age factor is a big problem and they have to look ahead for the future by encouraging more youngsters. There has been a lot of doubts over Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni’s future in the team and retirement is on the cards at any time. Here are 3 players for whom Chennai Super Kings might use their right to match card.

3 Players For Whom Chennai Super Kings Might Use Their Right To Match Card:
Suresh Raina:

Suresh Raina has fewer chances of being retained among the big names but he can certainly be a good prospect for getting back in the team through the Right to Match card. He has been one of the most consistent performers for Chennai Super Kings over the years and he deserves to be in the squad again.
He did not have the best of IPL this season scoring 123 runs from seven games and he was pushed one place below to accommodate Moeen Ali at three. He scored a valiant fifty in the first game against Delhi and has struggled after that. But he is a seasoned campaigner and provides a lot to the team in all three departments. CSK should try getting him back through the RTM card.
Deepak Chahar:
Deepak Chahar picked up 8 wickets in the 7 matches he played this year and he had two four-wicket hauls in the process. He is difficult to face when the conditions suit him and will be in the eyes of Chennai Super Kings to be brought back through the Right to Match card if the mega auction takes place next year.
Moeen Ali:
Apart from his batting, he picked up 5 wickets at an excellent economy rate. He was used as the sixth bowler mostly by MS Dhoni and he had a great impact on the team’s performance this year. He can bowl quality off-spin and bat anywhere in the order which makes him a huge player for the franchise. He will certainly be picked by Chennai Super Kings through the RTM card for whatever it may cost.
