Virat Kohli Centuries

Virat Kohli is an Indian cricketer who plies his trade for Team India in international cricket and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In domestic cricket, he represents Delhi.

The former India skipper is widely regarded as the best all-format batsman of this generation. The game has seen very few prolific run-scorers like Kohli. In the last decade or so, the right-handed batsman has scored heavily across formats and against all the oppositions irrespective of conditions.

Very few batsmen in the history of cricket have scored centuries as consistently as Kohli in international cricket. Kohli has already broken Sachin Tendulkar's record of most centuries in ODIs which looked unbreakable not very long ago. Virat Kohli's total centuries in all formats currently stands at 80.

Virat Kohli ODI centuries list:

Virat Kohli has been playing in ODIs since 2008. He has played 295 ODIs so far and has scored a staggering 13906 runs at an average of 58.18. At present, Virat Kohli's ODI century number stands at 50. He has also hit 72 half-centuries.

Virat Kohli's first ODI century came against Sri Lanka in 2009. In 2012, he scored his 10th century when he hit 108 against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup. His 20th century came against the West Indies in 2014. In 2015, Kohli scored his 23rd ODI ton against South Africa to surpass Sourav Ganguly and became the second-highest Indian centurion.

In 2017, he scored another century against Sri Lanka to become just the third player after Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting to touch the 30-century mark in ODIs. Kohli's 40th ODI ton came against Australia in 2019.

He finally equaled Tendulkar's 49-century record in 2023 during the World Cup game against South Africa at the Eden Gardens. In the same tournament, he hit the 50th ODI ton to become the first player to achieve the incredible feat.
