But, at the same time, they would also look to give chances to the other players in the squad. In this article, we have compiled our predicted XI of the Indian Cricket Team for the third ODI. Here’s a look at it.

Shikhar Dhawan has recovered from Covid-19 and is available to play the final match of the series. He will open the innings with Rohit Sharma in the third match. Rishabh Pant, who opened the innings in the last game, will go back in the middle-order. Rohit Sharma has a half-century to his name in the series and would look to score a century in the final match.

Middle-order: Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav

Former captain, Virat Kohli is yet to play a valuable knock with the bat in the series. He has endured low scores in both the games played so far. Fans would expect him to play a good knock on Friday. Rishabh Pant endured a forgettable outing while opening the inning in the last game. He will be going back to his usual position in the middle-order. Both KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav played valuable knocks in the last game and one expects them to hold on to their places.

All-rounder: Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur

Washington Sundar has been brilliant in the series with both bat and ball. He has made all-round contributions and the team would be pretty happy with that. He has picked four wickets and scored 24 runs in 2 matches. Shardul Thakur too has done a decent job but India might replace him with Deepak Chahal for the final ODI. Chances, however, are less likely.

Bowlers: Yuzvendra Chahal, Prasidh Krishna, and Avesh Khan

Prasidh Krishna has been the standout bowler in the series. He bowled one of the best spells in white-ball cricket on Wednesday. The Indian seamer picked four wickets for just 12 runs in 9 overs. Yuvzendra Chahal too showed great heart and managed to pick important wickets in both games.

He has managed to pick 5 wickets in 2 matches. With India having already won the series, they would be tempted to play Avesh Khan in place of M Siraj for the final ODI.
