West Indias have not managed to win a single match in the ongoing tour of the West Indies. They looked clueless in the ODI series and are currently 2-0 down in the T20 series.

The Men in Maroon came really close in the last game but fell 8 runs short in the end. They would look to end the tour on a winning note ahead of the third and final T20 international on Sunday. Here’s a look at our predicted playing of the West Indies Cricket Team for the final T2OI.

IND vs WI: West Indies’ Predicted Playing XI Against India– India vs West Indies 2022, 3rd T20I

Openers: Brandon King and Kyle Mayers

On his first tour of India, Brandon King endured a forgettable outing. He just couldn’t get going and struggled both against pace and swing. In 2 matches, he has only managed to score 27 runs but the team management would look to get him another game as well.

Kyle Mayers showcased his brutal power in the first match but went back to the hut cheaply in the last match. He would also look to end the tour with an impactful knock with the bat.

Middle-Order: Nicholas Pooran, Rovman Powell, and Kieron Pollard

Nicholas Pooran has been nothing short of outstanding in the T20 series. He has shown his class against a good bowling unit of India. Pooran is currently the highest run-scorer in the T20 series with 123 runs to his name in 2 matches at 61.50. He would look to end the tour on a high.

His partner, Rovman Powell also exhibited his brutal power-hitting in the last game. He produced a sensational knock of 68 runs in just 36 deliveries. Both the batsmen will be the biggest bets with the bat in the next game. Besides, skipper Kieron Pollard should come at number five in the batting order.

All-rounders: Jason Holder, Odean Smith, Roston Chase, Romario Shepherd

Roston Chase has been sensational in the T20 series. He is the standout bowler for West Indies. Chase hasn’t allowed the Indian batsmen to take him on easily. In 2 matches, he has managed to pick 5 wickets at 7.80.

However, the likes of Jason Holder, R Shepherd, and Odean Smith have been disappointing, to say the least. The trio needs to turn up with better performance on Sunday.

Bowlers: Akeal Hosein and Sheldon Cottrell

Sheldon Cottrell has found an early swing in power play and looked good with the ball in the last game. He managed to pick the important wicket of Ishan Kishan and conceded 20 runs in 3 overs. Akeal Hosein is short of wickets but has been economical with the ball. In four overs, he conceded 30 runs for 1 wicket in 4 overs.
