'Rishabh Pant Is The Man Of The Match?' Watch - Rohit Sharma's Hilarious Reaction On Pant Being Announced As Man Of The Match After IND vs WI 2nnd T20I

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who seemed a bit annoyed because of the lacklustre fielding efforts on a couple of occasions by team India in the 2nd T20I vs West Indies, was finally seen having fun after the game. The reason behind his jolly mood was ominous as the Men in Blue had another series win over the Caribbean giants after beating them in the 2nd T20I of the three-match series.
The task was a bit difficult this time as the Caribbean had won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma struggled to find the rhythm and gave away their wickets. Virat Kohli was rock solid with the bat as he scored a half-century followed by a couple of quickfire knocks from Rishabh Pant and Venkatesh Iyer that helped India post a total of 186 runs in the first innings.

The bowlers had a tough job at their disposal in the 2nd innings as the dew was predominant from the first over of the 2nd innings itself. However, the Indian spin twin of Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravi Bishnoi got India a couple of wickets. However, Rovman Powell and Nicholas Pooran put on an exhibition after the first 2 wickets as they stitched a 100-run partnership. However, Bhuvneshwar Kumar got India back in the game and eventually, the Men in Blue won the match by 8 runs and won the series 2-0.
Now, a funny video has emerged of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma having a bit of banter with Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicketkeeper, who got the Man of the Match award for his special half-century that helped India finish on a high in the first innings. After addressing his post-match presentation, as Harsha Bhogle invited Rishabh to collect his Man of the Match award, Rohit joked with Harsha and asked in a sarcastic manner, “Rishabh Pant Is The Man of the Match?”
To this Harsha replied, “Come on Rohit, he batted very well though.”

Team India Keep Marching On
The India National Cricket Team has had a great run in limited-overs cricket at home ever since the shambolic performance in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. They beat New Zealand 3-0 in the T20I series and whitewashed the Windies in the ODI series too. Rohit Sharma’s captaincy has been lauded by the greats of the game and the team finally seems to have found the right track.
The Men in Blue have got more than two dozen T20I matches lined up as a road to the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 which is slated to take place in Australia later this year. They will be locking horns in the final game of the series against the Windies on February 20 at the Eden Gardens Stadium and we might see a few changes as far as the Indian playing XI is concerned as part of the experiment policy that the team has planned to adopt as a part of the preparation of the T20 World Cup 2022.
