It was a humdinger of a match at Dubai International Stadium which took place on Friday. Both India and Bangladesh tried their best to bag the coveted Asia Cup 2018. However, it was the Indians, who held their nerves brilliantly to lift the trophy for the record seventh time. Meanwhile, KL Rahul shared the pictures and added a nice quotation to it.

Initially, it was expected that KL Rahul would take the Virat Kohli’s role. With the kind of form KL Rahul is having, one would have expected him to make Asia Cup 2018 of his own. However, the Indian management had other ideas in their mind, who benched him for the most of the tournament.

Every single member is a game changer and match winner – KL Rahul

The stylish opening batsman in his Instagram post quoted that every member of the team is a game changer and can win the matches for their country. Further, he proudly, mentioned it was the seventh Asia Cup title for India.

Digging into his post, it read that ”Where every single member is a game changer and match winner. Seventh Asia Cup.” He also added the pictures of lifting the trophy as well.

As it happened:

It was a tremendous journey for Team India in the Asia Cup 2018. They got a shaky start against Hong Kong in the group game then thrashed their arch-rivals, Pakistan pretty convincingly in the second game to top the group points table.

Then, they outsmarted Bangladesh and Pakistan pretty easily to become the first team to enter the final of the tournament. After that, they played a dead rubber against Afghanistan which turned out to be the game to look for ages. It is the only game India haven’t won, as they are satisfied with the draw.
