Pakistan started pretty poorly with their bat by handing the primary advantage to the Indians. However, the little fight by the middle-order and tail-enders helped them to put a competitive total on the board.

In reply, they never looked like tackling Indian openers. The classy duo Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma kept Pakistan fielders chasing the leather often than not. They both notched up fantastic hundreds to thrash Pakistan convincingly.
