3. KL Rahul
KL Rahul is the first player on this list. KL Rahul is named as the vice-captain of the Indian team ahead in Asia Cup 2022. The right-handed batsman spent a lot of time out of the field in the last few months due to injury. Rahul last played in IPL 2022 during April-May. Post that time, he was out of the field due to a sports hernia surgery.
He was expected to be part of the recent series against West Indies, however, he tested positive for COVID and had to skip the tour. Interestingly, Rahul has not played a single T20I game in 2022. However, he performed well in ODIs and Tests.
2. Ravichandran Ashwin

In 8 ODIs, the right-handed batsman has piled up 175 runs at an average of 21.87. He was also absent from the recent ODI and T20I series against West Indies and also not part of the forthcoming ODI series against Zimbabwe.
