Pakistan won by one wicket against Afghanistan in the Super 4 match in Sharjah. Men in Green were struggling at 118/9 in 18.5 overs in a chase of 130 runs, Naseem Shah hit two sixes off the first two balls of the last over to seal a thrilling victory.
In the 19th over of Pakistan’s chase of 130 runs, there was an altercation between the bowler and the batsman when Asif Ali was dismissed off the bowling of Fareed Ahmad. Ali got out after scoring 16 runs in 8 balls and other players and match officials had to intervene to stop both.

I’m Disappointed With Afghanistan Team – Javed Miandad
Former Pakistan captain Javed Miandad criticized the Afghanistan cricket team for “bad behavior” after their Super 4 match against the Babar Azam-led team in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022.
“Pakistan played well but I’m disappointed with the team [Afghanistan] they defeated. Just because their behaviour is so bad nowadays. We brought them into the picture, they used to practice in Pakistan. And now, just see their language. How older are they? They haven’t played that much cricket, have they lost their minds?”
“Pakistan have been playing the game for 20 years now. They came here and learned the game. I’m the witness because I coached them. But I was baffled to see how they behaved as if they were superstars,” Miandad said while speaking to ‘Events & Happenings Sports’.

“Your cricket is nothing. Learn how to play the game. There are numerous aspects of cricket. If you are sincere, humble and give respect [to each other], your game will get better. “Warna is tareeke se tum lafootas cricket kheloge.”
