Pakistan defeated Hong Kong by an emphatic margin of 155 runs as the duo of Shahdab Khan and Mohammad Rizwan clinched 7 wickets between them to wrap up the minnows in 5 overs. With the win, the Men in Green booked the last berth in the Super Fours of the Asia Cup 2022.

In the final Super-4 match, India will lock horns with Afghanistan on September 8. The Afghans were the first team to confirm a place in the Super-4 stage of Asia Cup 2022. The Mohammad Nabi-led side have so far played an excellent brand of cricket. Now, it is about continuing the same momentum in the Super-4 stage. India and Afghanistan have met three times in T20I format and the former have a perfect record.
