IND vs AFG: 'He Is Good Talent, If He Can Become More Muscular...."-Shoaib Akhtar's Advice For Youngster In Eye Of Storm

Indian Cricket Team has suffered an unexpected exit in the Asia Cup 2022. The Defending Champions had their hopes on Afghanistan to upset Pakistan, but Pakistan Cricket Team from nowhere won a fascinating contest.
Pakistani Great Pacer, Shoaib Akhtar was pretty impressed with Arshdeep Singh; even after the left-arm pacer was brutally trolled. India’s bowling attack has looked fragile in the Super 4 stage where the pacers weren’t able to bowl according to the situation.
Indian Cricket Team is under the pump for going in with 3 specialist pacers in a multi-national tournament. Avesh Khan, the right-arm pacer who got ill ahead of the Sri Lanka clash was a huge blow.
The management had to make Hardik Pandya the 5th bowler for a second consecutive time which wasn’t that fruitful.
Shoaib Akhtar on Arshdeep Singh
Shoaib Akhtar gave advice to the left-arm pacer and heaped praise on him while talking on his You-Tube Channel. “I also made mistakes in crucial matches. But he is a very good fast bowler, although, he couldn’t let his team to a win, but he bowled a perfect over. He is a good talent, if he can become a bit muscular, he will do good as he has the potential.”
Indian Bowlers Not Effective
There is no doubt that the Indian batters were unable to finish the innings on a high note, but at the same time bowlers were also responsible for the losses. The likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya & Yuzvendra Chahal were unable to provide break-throughs on a regular basis. These 3 bowlers were the core of the bowling unit and were expected to take responsibility rather than getting thrashed away in the Super 4 stage.
The management would be bothered as now their bowlers aren’t delivering in crunch situations. With the T20 World Cup 2022 a step ahead, the bowling lineup doesn’t look in good space. Rohit Sharma is looking quite worried as the skipper wasn’t expected such kind of performance. It would be interesting to see whether there are wholesale changes or if the management shows faith in the current crop of bowlers.
