IND vs AFG: Major Fire Outside Dubai International Stadium Ahead Of India vs Afghanistan Asia Cup 2022 Game

Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team and Mohammad Nabi-led Afghanistan National Cricket Team are set to lock horns in the 5th match of the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2022.
The match will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, September 8. Ahead of the game, a major fire broke out in a building just outside the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Vikrant Gupta of Sports Tak reported.

On Thursday, September 8, he took to Twitter to state that a major fire was seen outside the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. He further asserted that the fire broke out in a building, which is near the stadium.
“Getting to know about major fire outside Dubai stadium right now,” Vikrant Gupta of Sports Tak tweeted.
“As @VibhuBhola informs us, it’s in a building outside the stadium,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Men In Blue and The Afghans have gone head-to-head thrice in T20Is with India emerging victorious in all three games.
India And Afghanistan Already Knocked Out Of The Asia Cup
India and Afghanistan have already been knocked out of the tournament after losing back-to-back games in the Super 4 stage. Pakistan National Cricket Team are set to lock horns with Sri Lanka National Cricket Team in the Asia Cup 2022 final.
Both India and Afghanistan were the table toppers in the group stage of the tournament. However, they failed to replicate their performances in the Super 4 stage.
In the Super 4 stage, India faced a 5-wicket defeat against Pakistan on Sunday, September 4, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Also, they lost by 6 wickets against Dasun Shanaka’s Sri Lanka at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, September 6.
Talking about Afghanistan’s performance in the Super 4 round, the Mohammad Nabi-led side lost by 4 wickets against Sri Lanka at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on September 3. Also, they lost a nail-biting encounter against Pakistan by 1 wicket at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on September 7.
