India and Pakistan have a very intriguing rivalry where both teams don’t give an inch to the opposition. The journey of India in the 1st round was quite pleasing where the Men in Blue got their old Vintage Virat Kohli back and got to see the 2.0 version of Suryakumar Yadav.

Ravindra Jadeja’s absence leaves a big hole in the team. The management would be over the moon after seeing the performance of Hardik Pandya where he single-handedly disseminated Pakistan and gave them a reality check.

Pakistan cricket team on the other hand had a mismatch against Hong Kong where the bowlers bundled out them for relatively 38 runs inside 11 overs. The management now has a big issue to deal with as Shahnawaz Dahani is out of the tourney.

His absence is a huge blow as he has raw pace which is enough to create some disturbance in the batter’s mind. Pakistan would be hoping that they pull a rabbit out of the hat and avoid a defeat in the Super 4 stage.

Gautam Gambhir on India vs Pakistan match

Gautam Gambhir was seen talking to the Star Sports Official ahead of the India vs Pakistan Match. “The first game was a cliffhanger. Hopefully, we’re going to get many more games like that and I’m sure that India has got an advantage, just because we have got a better quality side from a batting and all-rounder point of view which we got Hardik Pandya. But I hope it’s going to be a good game tomorrow,” Gambhir said.

But again, on the other side, Pakistan will be a little better prepared. Especially, for tomorrow’s game as compared to what they started this tournament with. They have hardly played any T20 cricket this year. So hopefully we get a good game of cricket and hopeful India can come on top,” Gambhir concluded.

Captains finding it tough to score

Rohit Sharma surprisingly went backwards in the Pakistan match. He had earlier stated that India has adopted a fearless approach. The batter scored 12 runs out of 18 balls which somewhat hampered the run chase and it was unlike him; in England & West Indies tours, the batter was in full form disseminating the opposition.

The batter though had a decent outing where he scored a quickfire 21 runs against Hong Kong as in that innings, he showed a lot of intent.

Babar Azam is one of the most dangerous and greatest batters of all time. He has the knack for playing long & effective innings. His last two innings don’t do justice to his reputation; as the batter is finding new ways to get out.

Against India a short ball bouncer surprised him whereas against Hong Kong, he gifted his wicket to the bowler. These are alarming signs for Pakistan as the team is blatantly reliant on him to get big totals in excess of 170+. The skipper will have to play smart cricket just the way Rizwan did against Hong Kong.
