Virat Kohli was seen in superb form in India vs Pakistan clash on Sunday. The batter was timing the ball so perfectly as it never looked like he is out of form. Before that, he got a catch drop by Fakhar Zaman on the bowling of the debutant Naseem Shah and it is often said a batter needs a slice of luck to assert his dominance.

Virat Kohli was playing his 100th T20I Match and in which he broke one record of scoring 300 T20I fours. Though, he is not the first one to reach that milestone as Paul Stirling of Ireland holds the record for 344 fours while India’s skipper Rohit Sharma has struck 313 fours. Virat would be pleased as he finally has got some runs under his belt as his low scores used to demoralize the batting lineup.

Naseem Shah & Shahnawaz Dahani tried their best in order to cramp Virat Kohli but he was quite cautious in his approach. Rohit Sharma on the other side stood tall and make sure that there is no more damage done in the powerplay overs.

The former skipper disturbed the bowlers by whacking an odd boundary. This strategy worked as the bowlers were thinking that they were building pressure, but Virat had other ideas which astounded the Men in Green.

Virat Kohli Shows His Worth

Virat Kohli this time had the fire in his eyes which was missing in the England tour. Captain Rohit Sharma has been quite supportive to Virat Kohli irrespective of his bad patch. Rahul Dravid would be extremely delighted to see the Old Virat Kohli as now the team looks a force to reckon with especially in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The batter scored 35 runs in 34 balls and was looking in great touch.

Virat Kohli had got out to Nawaz while trying to clear long off delivery. That dismissal raised a lot of eyebrows and many experts believed that it wasn’t the need of the hour as the required run rate was just 8 runs per over.  Virat will have to be more vigilant the next time as silly mistakes only cost the team a lot.
