IND vs PAK: World Class Player Like Virat Kohli Isn't Affected By What People Say: KL Rahul

Virat Kohli, a fellow batsman, has returned from a break revitalized, as per Indian opening batsman KL Rahul, and he has not let the outside noise in any way impair his game.

Rahul discussed Kohli’s performance and his desire to win games for the team, particularly important ones like the upcoming Asia Cup opener, before the important match against Pakistan.

From being one of India’s best batsmen of all time, Kohli’s downturn in form has sparked speculation about whether his position in the playing XI in T20Is is impacting the side’s balance. “We do not place much weight on such opinions.”

“It doesn’t affect a player, especially a world-class player like Virat will not be affected by what people are saying (on the outside),” Rahul said, ditto of what Kohli used to say when something specifically critical used to be asked and current skipper Rohit does the same when questioned on his predecessor.

While Kohli has not hit an international century in nearly three years, Rahul believes that the incredible run he had for the past seven and a half years has left people wanting for more.

“When I was injured and at home for two months, I watched him play and he did not seem out of shape.”

“Maybe he has not reached that level yet because of the expectations he has set for himself. But I am sure he is eager to win games for his country. That is what he is done his entire career “He continued.

Virat Kohli may not be scoring runs as frequently as he did a few years ago, but the Indian cricket stalwart is still a strong batter. Kohli is eager to make a significant impact with the bat during the Asia Cup 2022 and is working hard to regain his previous form.
