“It was a heartwarming gesture. I was wondering why he wasn’t going ahead and waiting instead. Then when I realized, I asked him to walk together.”

Suryakumar claimed that he had a great time batting with the seasoned Kohli.

“I enjoyed batting with him because he had so much experience. I have not played as many T20 games as he has, so it is crucial to have an experience in a circumstance like this.

We do not play bowlers who bowl at speeds of 120-125 kph regularly: Suryakumar Yadav

During the press conference, the batsman acknowledged that playing against Hong Kong’s pacers was a little awkward, who often bowl at 120 to 125 kph. But he added that players should be prepared for any obstacle. Suryakumar commented:

“It is a little awkward, yes. We do not usually compete against bowlers who bowl at 120-125 kph. Our bowlers are bowling at 135-140 even in the nets (kph). However, since it is international cricket, you must adapt. And the same is being done by us.”
