India vs Hong Kong: Virat Kohli Receives Special Gift From Hong Kong Team After Asia Cup 2022 Match; India Star Shares Picture On Instagram

Indian Cricket Team’s Supreme batter Virat Kohli made a staggering comeback by notching up an unbeaten half-century. The batter played a knock of 59 runs in 44 balls against spirited Hong Kong in the Asia Cup 2022.

Head Coach Rahul Dravid & Skipper Rohit Sharma would now breathe a sigh of relief as their King Kohli is back. The way he constructed the innings was sublime as he never looked out of touch as he was looking consistently looking for singles & doubles.

The former Skipper had the fire in his eyes as the pitch was not that easy to score runs. The Hong Kong bowlers were not giving an inch to the Indian batters. It looked as if the Indian Cricket team will get a score around 150-160 as the spinners were bowling a lot of variations and were making life harder for the batters.

Hong Kong penned a message for Virat Kohli

Hong Kong Cricket Team gifted Virat Kohli their jersey. In that jersey a message was written: “Thank you for inspiring a generation. We stand with you. There are many incredible days ahead. With strength, with love, Team Hong Kong,” Kohli posted the picture of the jersey on his official Instagram profile, writing, “Thank you @hkcricket. This gesture is truly humbling and very very sweet.”

Virat Kohli & Suryakumar Disseminate the Hong Kong bowlers

Suryakumar Yadav came to the crease when the score was 94-2 in 13 overs. That didn’t stop him from being absolutely ruthless. He scored 68 runs in 26 balls which included 6 fours & 6 sixes and he was the main reason behind India’s mammoth total of 192-2. Suryakumar Yadav made a strong statement that he is not finished yet as he wasn’t able to put a significant score in the Pakistan match.

Virat Kohli was seen relieved as Suryakumar Yadav took the responsibility of smashing the bowlers all-around the park. Most likely, India’s next encounter is against Pakistan; and before that having two-star batters back to form is a dangerous sign and a wake-up for the opposition team.

The management & skipper had rested Hardik Pandya in this match to manage his workload. It would be interesting to see whether Rishabh Pant retains his place in the team for the next match which looks unlikely to happen; as Dinesh Karthik’s finishing abilities make him the first choice.
