India vs Pakistan: Irfan Pathan Takes A Dig At Waqar Younis After His Viral Tweet For Indian Top Order

Former India National Cricket Team all-rounder Irfan Pathan took a brutal dig at the former Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer, Waqar Younis, following his comments on the Indian top-order batting unit after the young Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi got ruled out of the Asia Cup 2022.

On Saturday, August 20, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued a statement in which it was asserted that the star pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi’s right knee ligament injury, which he sustained while fielding during the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle, has ruled him out of the Asia Cup as well as the home series against England.

Meanwhile, the former Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer Waqar Younis took to Twitter to assert that the top-order batting unit of the India National Cricket Team would be relieved to learn of the 22-year-old left-arm pacer Shaheen’s injury ahead of the Asia Cup.

After his tweet, Younis received heavy backlash on social media and several Indian fans took to the comment section to brutally troll him.

Irfan Pathan Takes A Dig At Waqar Younis

On Sunday, August 21, former India National Cricket Team all-rounder Irfan Pathan took to Twitter to take a dig at Younis. He asserted that the star Indian pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel not participating in the Asia Cup 2022 is a big relief for the other participants in the tournament.

Notably, premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the tournament due to a back injury and Harshal Patel has been ruled out of the mega event due to a rib injury.
