Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh: Dasun Shanaka Said We Have 2 World-Class Bowlers. I Don't See Any In Sri Lanka- Bangladesh Director's Huge Dig At SL Captain

Sri Lanka & Bangladesh are going to clash on Thursday which is a knock-out punch for both teams. Afghanistan Cricket Team convincingly defeated these two teams and was the first team to qualify from Group B.
Sri Lanka would be the team that would be hurt as Afghanistan had buried them alive. Bangladesh on the other side would be disappointed as their batters were in a hurry to accelerate, especially skipper Shakib who couldn’t make the most of a start.
Dasun Shanaka, the Sri Lankan Skipper was seen questioning batters’ preparation. The skipper knows that his side is in the reconstruction phase, but giving this excuse every time is not good for Sri Lanka Cricket. The skipper would be aware of the fact that Bangladesh can easily cut them in half by playing some fearless brand of Cricket.

Khaled Mahmud on Dasun Shanaka’s comments
Dasun Shanaka said, “Afghanistan has a world-class bowling attack. We know Fizz (Mustafizur Rahman) is a good bowler. Shakib is a world-class bowler. But apart from them, there is no world-class bowler in the side. So if we compare with Afghanistan, Bangladesh is an easier opponent,”

Khaled Mahmud responded: “It’s up to Dasun, why he said that or why he thinks we are (easier opponent). Maybe Afghanistan has a better T20 squad, that’s why he said that. He said a lot of other things as well, he said we have only 2 (world-class) bowlers or something. I don’t see any in Sri Lanka, at least Bangladesh have two. That’s very good. We have at least Mustafizur and Shakib, I don’t think they have world-class bowlers like them,”
“It’s about how you play the game that matters. Let’s see what happens tomorrow.” the team director further said.
Cracker of Contest on Cards
Given the pre-match conference, both the teams have started playing mind games ahead of a must-win clash. On paper, there’s hardly that separates these two teams as both are evenly matched.
The match is going to be played at Dubai International Stadium and given the nature of the pitch; a score of around 170 runs will seal the match for the batting team. In the last match at the venue, Indian batters showed that the team can accelerate at the back end of the innings and make a huge contribution.

Dasun Shanaka & Shakib al Hasan would be wary of the collapses as both the teams were in tatters. Their batters need to stick to the crease and one of them needs to play long innings of 60 odd runs so that the team can post a formidable total of around 160 odd runs. Scoring 30 odd runs and throwing away the start won’t work every time.
Bangladesh looks favourite to win as they have got foxy spinners who can create havoc in the Opposition team lineup; but at the same time, it is often said that the game of Cricket is full of uncertainty.
