Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by one wicket in the Asia Cup T20 tournament’s ‘Super Four’ match on Wednesday to qualify for the final. Pakistan won in a dramatic manner after Naseem Shah hit two consecutive sixes in the last over.
There was a lot of tension in the last overs of this contest, and even the players clashed on the field. Afghanistan fans were spotted throwing chairs at Pakistan fans after their team unexpectedly lost the match. A few Afghan fans were also caught hitting Pakistan fans.

Asif Ali, a Pakistani hitter, and Fareed Ahmed, an Afghanistan bowler, were involved in a heated exchange earlier in the game. Asif was caught out on the fifth ball of the 19th over while hitting a big shot on the delivery of Afghan bowler Farid Ahmed.

India’s chances of reaching the final ended with Pakistan’s victory. Pakistan chased down the target of 130 runs after losing nine wickets in 19.2 overs. After losing the toss, Afghanistan scored 129 for 6 in 20 overs and set Pakistan a target of 130 runs to win. Later, Pakistan scored 131 runs in 19.2 overs and won by 1 wicket.
