The three-match T20 series between Team India and Australia will begin from September 20 in Mohali. This series is expected to be a preparation for the T20 World Cup, which will be held in Australia next month.

In this T20 series against Australia, the main focus is on fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who is returning to the national team after recovering from a back injury. Bumrah played his last international match against England almost two months ago.

The right-arm fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah was injured just before the Asia Cup 2022. He went to the NCA and focused a lot on his fitness. After that, he is eager to recover from the injury and get back on the field. Now that Bumrah is fully fit and back, there are many hands behind his comeback.

Taking to his social media accounts, Bumrah shared a picture with the three trainers and wrote a heartfelt message. “Can’t thank these men enough for their hardwork, expertise and all the hours they’ve put in to help me get back to the game,” Bumrah captioned.

Bumrah’s stint at the NCA helped him regain his full fitness and it was evident from some of the videos he shared on his Instagram handle.

In the video, which was posted a few days ago, Bumrah can be seen doing some weight training and exercises in the gym. More importantly, he was seen bowling in his regular run-up and bending his back.

“Work and you’ll get what you need; work hard and you’ll get what you want,” Bumrah captioned.

Rohit Sharma’s team will play a three-match T20 series against Australia from September 20 to 25. After that, the Indian team will play three T20Is and three ODIs against South Africa.

It will be a huge relief for Indian team management to have Bumrah back in action before the World Cup. He is now fit and ready to lead the bowling in the upcoming bilateral series as well as the T20 World Cup in 2022.
