In T20I cricket, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been struggling as the veteran Indian bowler hasn’t been able to perform as well as he once did for India in the dying overs. The experienced fast bowler struggled in the Asia Cup Super 4 matches against Pakistan and Sri Lanka because of the pressure.
On September 20, in the opening T20I of a three-match series against Australia at Mohali, Bhuvneshwar allowed 52 runs to be scored without taking a wicket.
Bad Form In Death Overs Continue To Hurt Bhuvneshwar Kumar
As the visitors successfully chased down 209, no other Indian bowlers were able to contain the Australian hitters except from Axar Patel.
For the third time in a row, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was unable to deliver in the 19th over as the pacer in Mohali allowed 16 runs to be scored. Bhuvneshwar handed up 31 runs in his final two overs as Australia finished off the job with four balls remaining.
In the last three 19th overs he has bowled in T20I cricket, against Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup 2022, as well as the Mohali T20I against Australia, Bhuvneshwar has given up 49 runs.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s Wife Nupur Nagar Shares Message On Instagram Poking Fun At Bullies
After he made many errors in the first T20I, the Indian bowler faced abuse on social media.
On Wednesday, Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s wife wrote a stern message on Instagram that appeared to poke fun at the bullies.
“Nowadays, people are so worthless, that they have nothing better to do and have so much time to spread hate and envy… My advise to all those is – nobody is affected by your words or care about your existence.
So please spend that time in making yourself better, though there is very less scope for that!!” she wrote in a Insta story.
In the Asia Cup, Bhuvneshwar pulled up a 5-wicket haul against Afghanistan, showing hints of regaining his mojo following the humiliating losses against Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
As many as four wide deliveries were bowled by Bhuvneshwar in his final two overs against Australia as a result of his inability to manage his variations. With his wide yorkers towards the end, the senior pace has also been predictable, creating a feeling of predictability.
Nevertheless, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has taken 31 wickets in 23 games, has been India’s top wicket-taker in T20Is. In 2022, he has given up runs at a rate of under 7 per over.
The senior pacer will be attempting to recover strongly and regain his rhythm before to the T20 World Cup, which begins on October 16 in Australia.
