Jasprit Bumrah, India’s supreme fast bowler is making a comeback to International Arena after a hiatus. The speedster missed Asia Cup 2022 as he had a back injury. His absence hurt Team India in the death overs; the likes of Bhuvneshwar & Arshdeep weren’t able to stop the flow of runs. It looked as if the pacers were too much reliant on slower & cutters which didn’t pay off well.
Jasprit Bumrah is expected to lead the attack and provide crucial breakthroughs. The pacer has a unique ability to be a game-changer as he has a lot of variations. It would be interesting to see how many spells, the pacer would be used as India’s middle overs phase is also a concern. The management would be carefully monitoring the pacer as they can’t afford him to be injured against Australia T20I Series.

Jasprit Bumrah, on Wednesday, September 13, uploaded a video on his official Instagram handle where he can be seen working his heart out.

A Terrific Bowling line up
Indian bowling lineup is a lethal one as they have got all the bases covered. The likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar can easily dethrone the opposition with the swing. We all have seen that Bhuvneshwar also can be handy with the bat if needed. The pacer can be used for a 3-over spell in the power-play overs as he can inflict a lot of damage. The right-arm pacer has the habit of bowling pin-point deliveries which makes him an invaluable player for the Indian Cricket Team.
Hardik Pandya’s role as a 6th seamer becomes extremely vital. The all-rounder has shown immense improvement in his game but he needs to be consistent. Head Coach Rahul Dravid & Captain Rohit Sharma have a conundrum as to who to select as a 3rd seamer as both Harshal Patel & Arshdeep Singh are capable of creating havoc on a given day. Harshal Patel could be a slight favorite option as he has been around the team since the 2021 T20 World Cup.
