The World Cricket is going to witness a Cracker of a Test Series between India & Australia commencing in February. Australia is set to play Test Series in India after 2017 where they lost the series after taking a 1-0 lead. The Aussies would be keen to end the drought of 19 years as they haven’t won Test Series in India since 2004.

India needs to bring their ‘A’ game as this time Australia is no longer dependent on Steven Smith & David Warner to amass runs as they have got Usman Khawaja & Marnus Labuschagne. The Men in Blue has to win the Test Series by 3-1 or 3-0 to stake a claim in the World Test Championship (WTC) final.

Travis Head on Spin

Travis Head was having an interaction with Sydney Morning Herald and was asked about his approach against spin. “Watching the way England played in Pakistan, I have probably looked back and wasn’t as positive as I had like to be again spin in those series. I feel like the way I played throughout this series against spin- I know it’s completely different being in Australia- but the more positive I am, the better I am with my feet and the better I am in defense,” said Travis Head

“We have seen that with fast bowling this summer. When I hunt the ball, my front foot defense is probably the best it’s been and I think I have got to go over with there with a positive mindset, not a defensive one,” he added.

Travis Head compared his stints in Pakistan & Sri Lanka. “I think I may have been a bit on the defensive side in Pakistan & Sri Lanka, which you have always got a ball on your name over there,” said Travis Head.

“But get over there, we have got a long time to get settled over there and get the lay of the land and understand what my role might be. It could be low scoring, it could be high scoring, you might need to get big scores, or a 40, 50, 60 might win you Test match,” he added.
