Bumrah has reportedly begun to bowl in the nets at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), where he is currently recovering, according to a report in The Times of India.
According to the report, the fast bowler might be selected for the final two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia if his back doesn’t bother him. It was reported that a source said: “Yes, Bumrah has started bowling in the nets. Let’s hope all goes well and he’s declared fit.”

The injury struggles of Jasprit Bumrah significantly reduced India’s chances of taking home two medals in 2022. He had been excluded from the Asia Cup out of caution for the T20 World Cup later in the year, but he wound up injuring himself before the main event.
India didn’t get to the championship game in either competition. In the T20 World Cup semifinals, Rohit Sharma’s team was knocked out after losing to England by a score of 10 wickets.
