Sri Lanka takes on Australia in the fourth ODI in Colombo to maintain the lead. The hosts won the second and third ODI to take the lead in the series. Both teams need to win the last two matches to win the series.
Sri Lanka won the fourth ODI by six wickets riding on Pathum Nissanka’s maiden ODI ton. He scored 137 as his side chased 292 with six wickets and nine balls to spare. This was their first back-to-back win against Australia in Sri Lanka in over 20 years.

There are no injury concerns with the Sri Lankan team as opposed to Australia. However, having won two back-to-back games, they would not like to change the winning combination. More or less they have gone with five bowlers and that would ideally remain the same.
Sri Lanka vs Australia: Sri Lanka’s Predicted Playing XI Against Australia 4th ODI
Niroshan Dickwella

Dickwella has made a comeback into the Lankan side and has replaced Danushka Gunathilaka who played the T20Is. In the third ODI, he scored 26 off 15 balls and gave a quick start to his side.
Pathum Nissanka

Nissanka scored his maiden ODI century in the previous game. He is now key for the rest of the two games and the most in-form batter of the side.
Kusal Mendis

Mendis has been declared fit to play for the third ODI. He scored 87 runs off 85 balls, including 8 fours, in the 3rd ODI against Australia and he also had a 170-run partnership with Nissanka. He had to go retired hurt after he picked up a neuromuscular cramp.
Dhananjaya de Silva

De Silva will bat at number four in the line-up. He is a top-order all-rounder for his side. In the third ODI, he scored 25 off 17 balls and played his part in taking his team to victory.
Charith Asalanka

Asalanka scored an unbeaten 134 off 12 balls and took his team home in the third ODI. He will bat at number five in the lineup.
Dasun Shanaka (C)

Shanaka scored a duck in the third ODI after scoring a crucial 34 in the second ODI. He played a heroic knock in the final T20I to take his team to a win. Something similar is required of him in the final two games.
Chamika Karunaratne

Karunaratne will bat at number six in the line-up. He was the hero of the side in their win in the second ODI. He had an expensive spell in the third ODI after his all-round performance in the second.
Dunith Wellalage / Praveen Jayawickrama

The young leggie was expensive in the last game and went for 56 runs off his spell. Sri Lanka can try Jayawickrama in his place in the next game as both are left-arm spin bowlers.
Jeffrey Vandersay

Vandersay was their most successful bowler in the last game picking up three wickets for 49 runs. He will be key again in the next game.
Dushmantha Chameera

Chameera will lead the attack. He is among the best seamers in the country right now ad even is fresh from playing a season in the IPL. That stint has helped him enhance his reputation.
Maheesh Theekshana

Theekshana concludes Sri Lanka’s strongest-looking playing Xi with a few of their players unavailable as well. The side can definitely challenge the Aussies in the fourth game.
