Quinton de Kock wreaked havoc with the bat in the last ODI series against India. He scored 229 runs in 3 matches at an outstanding average of 76.33. De Kock has an outstanding record against Bangladesh and is expected to do well this time in the upcoming series as well.

His partner Janneman Malan has made an outstanding start to his ODI career. He didn’t have a great series against India and would be keen to make a strong comeback.

Middle-Order: Aiden Markram, Rassie van der Dussen, Temba Bavuma and David Miller

South Africa’s strength lies in its batting department. They have got four top-notch batters in the middle-order. Aiden Markram is likely to come at three, followed by Rassie van der Dussen at four. The latter is scoring runs consistently and should be a must-have pick in your fantasy team. Temba Bavuma will lead South Africa’s team, while David Miller too should hold on to his spot in the eleven.

All-rounders: Phehlukwayo and Marco Jansen

Marco Jansen showed his skills in the last series against India. He was brilliant with the ball both in the Test as well as the ODI series. There is no denying that he is one for the future. Besides, Phehlukwayo should be there in the eleven too. He bowled exceedingly well against India and finished the series as the highest wicket-taker.

Bowlers: Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, and Shamsi

Kagiso Radaba is a part of the squad and is likely to make the cut for the first ODI. Lungi Ngidi did well against India and is unlikely to be preferred over Radaba. As for the spin, both Keshav Maharaj and Tabraiz Shamsi should make the cut. The later picked 4 wickets in 2 Tests at an average of 27.25.
