CPL Schedule
The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is one of the leading T20 leagues in the world and is the main T20 tournament of the Caribbeans. Founded by Cricket West Indies (CWI), its first season was played in the year 2013.
A total of six teams have been participating in the competition every season. The format of the competition is a league stage followed by the playoffs and the final. In the league stage, each team plays against the other five teams twice.
The teams get two points for winning a game and no point for losing. In case, the game does not yield any result, each of the two participating teams will get a point each.
The top four teams qualify for the playoffs. Just like in IPL, the top two teams will be getting two shots at the final. The top two teams take on each other in the first qualifier while the third and fourth placed teams play the Eliminator. The winner of the first qualifier advances to the final while the loser plays against the winner of the Eliminator for a place in the final.
CPL Schedule:
Just like the previous seasons, six teams will be participating in CPL 2025 as well. Here are the teams that will be participating in CPL 2025:
- Antigua and Barbuda Falcons
- Barbados Royals
- Guyana Amazon Warriors
- St Kitts and Nevis Patriots
- Saint Lucia Kings
- Trinbago Knight Riders
CPL 2025 will be the 13th edition of the tournament and will be played from August 15 to September 22 (IST). A total of 34 games will be played this season. Out of the 34 games, 30 will be league games while the other four will be the playoffs matches and the final.
The matches will be played across six venues - St Kitts, Antigua, St Lucia, Trinidad, Barbados and Guyana. Guyana will be the venue for all the playoffs matches and the final.
