After his amazing performance for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2020, Samson was given opportunities in India vs Australia T20I series in December 2020. However, he could not grab the limelight with his batting and scored 23, 15, and 10 in the three T20I matches. In the following ODI series against Australia, Sanju Samson was part of the squad but was not chosen in the playing 11.  Now, After Rishabh Pant’s amazing performance in the ODI series against England, Samson will face difficulties to bag a spot in the ODIs.

In November 2019, Bharat was added to India’s Test squad against Bangladesh. However, he did not play any game. In the India vs Australia ODI series against Australia in January 2020, Srikar Bharat was part of the Indian squad but did not make it to the playing 11. So Srikar Bharat has been a popular choice for selectors for the international team. However, after Rishabh Pant’s eye-catching performances, he might be overlooked by selectors.
